Jivraj Kaswan was born in Lalasar village in the Churu district. His initial school education happened in the village government school. For his senior secondary, graduation, and law, he moved to Churu and completed them there.
Jivraj says that after completing his education he wanted to invest his energy in the social sector. His friend, Srinivas guided him to come into this field and Jivraj started working for the Swarna Jayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana.
After that, with the guidance of Rajan Choudhary, Secretary, Shikshit Rojgar Kendra Prabandhak Samiti, Jivraj joined DPIP (District Poverty Initiatives Project) and worked as a District Coordinator for five years and also got promoted to ‘Zila Pariyojana Adhikari’ due to his commendable work.
Jivraj says that gradually he grew immense interest in social service and related work and started his own NGO, Society for Agriculture and Rural Development in 2007. Along with this, he is also working in the field of medical health as a health supervisor for the past fifteen years.
Jivraj feels that when someone starts working in a sector, mistakes are meant to happen. One should learn from these mistakes and move forward. These downfalls are nothing but new experiences being learned.
Jivraj says that if anybody wants to come into the field of social service then they should not think about earning money as this is a no-profit no-loss type of sector. Only people with a zeal for helping others should think about coming into this field.
To refresh his mind, Jivraj spends time with his friends and family and has good conversations with them.
