Continuing the legacy of his father, Jitesh Sharma popularized his paintings made of gemstones and is winning the hearts of his clients by presenting his original art.

Jitesh Sharma is an artist. He is the owner of Jitesh Arts in Jaipur. He makes different paintings using gemstones that make them extremely realistic and vibrant.

Jitesh's father was also an artist. Since childhood, he used to see his father’s painting work. He used to ask many questions to his father. After his 12th class, he started learning this art. He became so interested in it that he used to spend 18 to 20 hours in painting only and this is how he entered the field of Arts.

Jitesh's struggle began when he found fewer customers coming to buy his art. He says, due to commercialization of this art, such paintings were being sold at lower prices by mixing other stones with gemstones. But he was making paintings using only gemstones. He wanted to explain to the people the reality of his art. So he used to go to different tourist places and explain his art there. Many European tourists were inspired by his art and they suggested he post his items on social media like Instagram and Facebook. As Jitesh was unaware of this technology, the Europeans themselves posted his artwork on social sites and helped Jitesh to sell his paintings worldwide. Jitesh says that he learned to speak English so that he could explain his art to his clients.

Jitesh's role model is his father who showed him this path although  he was not technologically sound. He also considers one of his friends, Adriano Pigyani, an Italian, who sells his paintings in different countries on the beaches as his role model.

Regarding mistakes, Jitesh says that initially, he used to do various jobs. This was his biggest mistake. Now he is fully dedicated to his artwork only.

Sharing his Covid journey, Jitesh says that his business came to a standstill due to the pandemic. His European friends sent him financial aid which helped him to survive during the pandemic. He feels  proud and happy that his clients helped him during his bad times.

In his free time or when he is depressed, Jitesh goes for long drives up to 500 km. He also likes to travel all over India.

Welcoming all aspiring artists, Jitesh says that good art takes time to get publicized. He says that they should walk on the right path. Also, they should showcase their work on social media so that people would come to know about their art.

Jitesh's success mantra is ‘Fortune favors the brave.

To one and all, Jitesh advises that they should live in the present. He also suggests they invent it now if they want to predict their future. Also, they should never compromise in life.
