Jitendra Solanki is the owner of building and construction material firm - Devika Enterprises Building Materials

Jitendra is from the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan. He did his schooling from Vidya Bhawan School at Udaipur. He had to drop his college in between, as he had entered into business at an early stage. Currently he is the owner of Devika Enterprises which supplies building and construction material, located at Rampura Circle, Udaipur.

Although now he is the owner of a successful business, he started his business venture with a departmental store and had to work hard to reach where he is now.  Later, he worked at his elder brother’s shop as an employee and did the smallest of jobs to earn the reputation of a disciplined and trustworthy person. Also he had learned the basics of the construction material business there.

When his elder brother started a new business, he gave the charge of handling the construction material business to Jitendra showing full confidence in him. Now it was Jitendra’s duty to keep the business up and running and he has kept up to the promise. Now the firm has gained even more prominence. This was possible due to his humble outlook and discipline towards work.

Talking about his family, he lives with his mother, two elder brothers, his wife and children. He recalls that his father had supported him when he was in the initial stage of setting up his business. After his father, his elder brother had supported him, even now if he needs any guidance, his brother helps him.

In his free time, he likes to travel to new places and party with friends.

His success mantra is to be punctual and work hard with modesty. He tells the youth to set a definite goal, utilise the time they have and work hard with patience to achieve it.
