Pursuing his love for dance, Jitendra opened his own dance studio, introducing his students to the nitty-gritty of dance as an art. He specializes in belly, jazz, contemporary, bollywood, semi-classical, and folk forms of dance.

Jitendra Sharma is a choreographer at AIR-Art in Rhythm: Dance, Drama, and Music studio. He belongs to the city of Jaipur.

Since childhood, Jitendra was fond of dance and decided to take his passion forward by working as a dance instructor and teacher. As a kid, he showed his talent on the streets and was motivated by his friends to give wings to his dream.

Speaking about his challenges, Jitendra says that it was in 2015 that due to some physical issues, he had to take a break from dance. He thought he wouldn’t be able to get back, only to realize that dance was his true love that he could never let go of. This is when Jitendra started exercising and overcame all the challenges that stood between him and dance.

Talking about his achievements, Jitendra shares that his students have made it to Dance India Dance by reaching the super 8 level. They were also featured in the Dance Plus show, and today, many of his students have opened up their own dance studios, making him feel accomplished.

Besides, Jitendra has worked on many events like road safety and teaching dance at schools. He continues to collaborate with schools for occasions like sports days and annual functions.

Talking about the pandemic, Jitendra shares that he lost his dear mother, which was indeed a painful experience for him. He also remained concerned about his dance studio and getting it back on track.

Jitendra considers his elder brother as his role model and admires him for managing his work really well while encouraging people around him. Inspired by him, Jitendra motivates his students to do better in life.

If Jitendra could go back in a Time Machine, he would like to revisit his school days and catch up with his friends, remembering the good old days.

In his free time, Jitendra learns music composition and indulges in dance, his forever hobby. He also likes to go for bike rides and create visual effects.

Jitendra is inspired by the quotes "No pain, no gain" and "Never Stop Learning." He feels that today’s youth want things easy and are not willing to put in the required efforts. Jitendra advises aspiring dancers to strengthen their dancing techniques and encourage their students to get better at it day by day.
