Jitendra Sharma is a Journalist from Firozabad. He has an experience of twenty-years in this profession.
Jitendra says that his focus remains on addressing social issues and providing some relief to the victims of injustice through his journalism. His motto is to at least five people daily and get them the required relief.
Jitendra shares that the financial condition of his family was not so good. His father used to run a tea stall and through the earnings from it, managed to educate all his kids. Jitendra also did small jobs during his education to support his father. He has done LLM and is also an Aacharya in Sanskrit.
Jitendra says that before coming into the field of Journalism, he worked at a bangles factory, opened an auto rickshaw agency, worked as a medical representative, and even initiated an electrical shop. He used to read a lot about human rights and through his knowledge, eventually got a job as a senior journalist at Saakshya News.
Jitendra further adds that he follows the wise teachings of Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, who said that journalism should be done as a social service and not as a business or job.
Talking about his mistakes, Jitendra says that he has not made any major mistakes in life and learns from the mistakes of everyone around him.
When asked about his achievements, Jitendra says that he does not lament losses and neither celebrates achievements in life. He just aspires to help people through his honest journalism each day.
Throwing some light on his role models, Jitendra says that Brijesh Mishra and Biren of Bharat Samachar are his role models. They both have guided and trained him in this field and Jitendra keeps on learning from them.
To remain stress-free in life, Jitendra turns to devotional activities like praying.
Advising everyone, Jitendra says that no work is small or big and good or bad. He says that we should do our work with dedication and honesty.
Apart from journalism, Jitendra likes to participate in and practice the traditional art of wrestling. He is also fond of playing Badminton.
