Owner of the highly popular Jammu Himachal Dhaba, Jitendra started his journey as a hardware worker and then put his hard efforts to develop his family business of hotels. His content on Instagram and YouTube has garnered 180,000 followers in just a few months.

Jitendra Singh Ranawat is the  owner of a famous and popular  ‘desi’ restaurant known as the Jammu Himachal Dhaba in Udaipur. He is also a content creator who posts his content on Instagram and Youtube.

The hotel chain has been in operation since his grandfather's days.  The restaurant started with serving truck drivers and then gradually started serving elite customers as well.

Jitendra reveals that the restaurant is managed by his father, brother and Jitendra himself. His younger brother manages the counter, his father oversees the kitchen, and he oversees the management of the hotel. He handles customers and orders as part of his job. He requests client  reviews and  feedback, which he then shares on his Instagram account.

According to Jitendra, he manages all the 42 employees in his restaurant and views them as part of his family. There is no special meal prepared for the crew at his restaurant; everyone is free to eat as much as they like. His hotel operates on a daily wage payment arrangement for its employees.  He maintains complete transparency in financial transactions which enables him to have a steady workforce. He suggests all the other hotel owners  do the same.

When Jitendra thinks back on his early years, he recalls he was born in a hamlet close to Delwara. He returned to Udaipur after living with his paternal aunt until the fifth grade. Regretfully, he failed the seventh grade and moved to Mumbai to look for a job.  He started working as a hardware employee at Mayur Hardware, earning a mere Rs 2200 per month. He was making 8000 per month when his father called him back to Udaipur to handle the restaurant.

He claims that when his father first started his truck company, he suffered a significant loss. Further, his mother was afflicted with an illness, and her treatment would cost between Rs. 7 and  8 lakh. He is incredibly appreciative of Ganpat Singh for helping them through a trying moment in their lives. He, along with his father and brother, worked relentlessly hard over the years to make the restaurant achieve success.

Dilip Patel, his supervisor in Mumbai, provided him with an excellent  exposure in every aspect of business and Jitendra views Patel as his role model. He gained a lot of knowledge from his mentor over their five years of working together.

He says that the reason he gained 180,000 followers on his Insta page in about 4 to 5 months was due to the Gavari song. He enjoyed watching Gavari, and he never missed a show. He is greatly motivated by the Gavari song "Jhoothe Jhoothani Rani Jhoot Mat Bolo."

Regarding his accomplishments,  he proudly mentions that income from his hotel operations have enabled him to purchase his home and he is able to fulfil his needs and wants as well. In addition to generating a good living, he is able to pay his employees well.

Jitendra advises aspiring hoteliers that using high-quality ingredients is crucial to preparing high-quality  dishes. However, it is equally crucial to maintain the happiness and satisfaction of your employees. He claims that you will  grow four times faster if your employees continue to be content and joyful.

He counsels the younger generation to stay away from junk food, such as burgers and pizza, and to choose healthy foods instead. He thinks that junk food is the primary cause of many ailments in the modern world, including heart attacks and silent attacks. He exhorts everyone to be active and healthy by avoiding tea and greasy meals.

Finally, he extends an invitation to everyone to visit Jammu Himachal Dhaba. You can reach him on Instagram by following him at @pushpa_raj_and_shivli. He says that he began by sharing videos and reels in the local language. After gaining 50,000 followers, he began sharing consumer feedback, and in only two months, he had amassed 1 lakh 30 thousand followers. By accepting reviews, he saw a significant rise in his clientele. He is currently uploading videos of client testimonials to his Pushpa Bhau YouTube account.

It can be concluded from Jitendra’s journey that with resilience and perseverance, one can achieve formidable success.
