Jitendra is diligently doing his duties as the Head Roll Ball Coach and also imparting Speed Skating training to youngsters. He also officiates in state and national level tournaments.

Jitendra Singh Bhati is the District Roll Ball Coach at the Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon in Udaipur. Roll Ball is an Indian sport for which the M.P. Khel Gaon has the largest court in Rajasthan. Jitendra also coaches boys and girls of various age categories in Speed Skating.

Jitendra explains that there are two types of skating-rink skating and road racing. Rink skating has different events like 500 meters and 1000 meters etc.

Jitendra is from Udaipur and had his schooling from Udaipur itself. He started skating quite early when there were very few facilities for skating in Udaipur. Gradually, he came in contact with international level skaters and coaches and learnt various aspects of the sport. Thereafter, he started participating in state and national level tournaments.

Jitendra says skating is very good for your fitness. It increases your stamina, keeps you fit and burns all the extra fat in your body. Besides, he informs us that nowadays there is good support from the government for all sportspersons. When you go to participate in any tournament you get allowances and good prize money. Besides, based on your performance you may also get government jobs.

Jitendra also officiates in tournaments of state and national levels.

His role model is the India level Skating Coach from Pune, Rahul Rane. Rahul has a big rink where he trains skaters but he is very down to earth and humble. When Jitendra visited him in Pune, Rahul explained everything to him about skating officialdom.

Jitendra says people should let their children join sports and not insist on traditional careers only. Today, sportspersons have many opportunities and they could go to the Army, Police or join Government jobs.

If given a chance to go back in time, Jitendra would like to go back to his school days.

Jitendra feels that you must keep a balance between your education and sports to succeed in life. He feels strict discipline is necessary to achieve success in sports.
