Eager to make a difference and create her own identity, Jinal joined the ‘Biking Queen’ group and became a professional biker. So far, she has explored different places not only in the country but also abroad, which she is proud of.

Jinal Shah is a Biker. She started her biking journey in 2015, with a rally for women’s empowerment. Since then she has ridden over forty-five thousand kms, in which she has not only covered the country but also seven other countries including Russia.

Recalling her childhood, Jinal says that she had a very challenging childhood as her parents got separated when she was very young. After that, her mother single-handedly took care of her and gave her a good upbringing.

Describing the beginnings of her biking journey, Jinal says that she came in contact with a group called ‘Biking Queens’, and from there, her journey started. She says, this group worked for women empowerment in Surat in which she also participated and gathered thirty-five girls from different colleges and trained them to ride a bike. Later, she also contributed to the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Movement.

Regarding her struggles, Jinal says that there have been many ups and downs in her life since childhood, but facing all of them, she has been able to reach where she is today. Apart from this, in the field of biking, sometimes she doesn’t get proper meals and has to deal with many other difficulties.

Speaking about her role models, Jinal says she considers her mother, her mother-in-law, and her husband as her mentors and her biggest supporters for helping her move ahead in her life and helping her fulfill her dreams.

When asked about her achievements, Jinal says when her family members introduce her as a biker, she considers it a big accomplishment for her.

Jinal advises everyone to follow their passion and tells them that if you are determined enough then don’t let anyone hold you back. Just keep moving forward and one day, everyone will respect you. She adds that, grab whatever opportunity you get and move forward because life doesn’t necessarily always give you a second chance.
