Jahnvi Rathore is a young Skating enthusiast from Udaipur. She lives in a joint family of seven members. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a homemaker.
Her interest in Skating developed at the early age of five years. However, she had to drop it then. Now, she is sixteen and is training under Thakur Jitendra Singh Bhati.
Jahnvi says that her coach motivates her a lot. He teaches the basics of skating and whenever Jahnvi does something wrong, he corrects her. He has taught Jahnvi every type of skating.
Jahnvi has participated in state-level skating competitions in Bikaner, Bhilwara, Jodhpur, and Ajmer. She even participated in national trials of skating in Bikaner but could not qualify. She has won a gold medal in the Bikaner state competition.
She says that injuries are common in this sport. Once she fell while skating and had to take a rest for a few days. However, she was quick to come back to the skating rink soon enough.
Her dream is to participate in international-level skating competitions and then go into the Army or Police through it.
Her favorite skater is Nikhilesh Tabhane who is India’s fastest Skater. She admires his moves and his style of racing.
Jahnvi says that her parents are very supportive and don’t let her get depressed in any way. They encourage her even when she loses a competition and advise her to keep trying and practicing.
Jahnvi shares that during the Covid Lockdown when everything was closed, her training also halted for a few months. However, now everything is back on track and she never misses her training schedule.
She wakes up early and goes to practice between 4-7 A.M. Jahnvi also has a practice session in the evening after her school and coaching classes.
Jahnvi loves traveling and dancing in her free time.
