After a lot of trials and tribulations with his life, from Music to Travelling, Jesse Korby found his place in the corporate world as a Consultant.

Jesse Korby works as a Consultant with various industries which include Technology and Entertainment.

Jesse grew up in the state of Virginia in the USA. Many of his family members would work for the government agencies or in the education sector and it was a nice group of people for him to grow up in. As a kid, he played Basketball and Football and made really good friends. He says, growing up, he got to experience different cultures as it was an eclectic mix of people around him. All in all, he was given a classical American upbringing as he says.

Jesse really loved learning Music from a young age. From sixth grade up till high school he learnt Music. Learning Music really changed his outlook toward the world and how he communicated with people around him.

Talking about his career progression, Jesse shares that he started out as a Musician in Tennessee. He travelled to China for entertainment. He worked in the Automotive, Jewellery, and Luxury Industries. And currently, he is working as a Consultant with Tech and Entertainment Industries.

Jesse always wanted to be a musician. He received his formal education in Music and Psychology. He started his career as a Recording Artist and worked for Radio. He says that one of his records went viral and found a place in mainstream music. This boosted up his morale and from there he thought of making a full-time career in Music. He built up his own team of people. He brought together an attorney, producer, and vocal coach. Meanwhile, he also tried his hand at different things. He became a Sommelier. Then, when he had kids and his family to take care of, he moved to New York and worked in Sales there. He sold cars and he got to learn a lot working in Sales. After that, he worked in the Jewellery and Luxury Industry. He would sell gold and diamond jewellery over the phone. He was able to sell half a million worth of jewellery and a million worth of merchandise and slowly made his way to the Management and it was a major breakthrough in his career.

Talking about struggles in his life, Jesse shares that when he was working as a Recording Artist it was a really tough time for him. He had to work and sleep in the studio he worked at. Often he did not have his own place to sleep. But in retrospect, he thinks that those tough times in life taught him about life in depth.

Discussing the Covid pandemic, he says that it was a tough time for everyone across countries. But personally, it was a transformative experience for him. He upskilled himself, read a lot, and learned about many new things from technology to the stock market. Just a couple of weeks before the pandemic, he was promoted to Manager at the company he was working for. Instead of becoming weary of the situation, he employed a proactive approach to deal with the situation. He gathered his entire team and shifted them all to work-from-home mode.

Jesse has a keen interest in learning about different philosophies. He has read the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam among other philosophical books.

Jesse advises people to endeavour to be the best at what they do and learn as much as they can about what interests them.

In his spare time, Jesse likes to play guitar, do yoga and physical exercises. He also likes to read books about different topics.

If he could go back in time then Jesse, with all the experience he has now, would want to go back and avoid the mistakes that he committed in his music career in order to become an established musician.

Jesse thinks that leadership is a born personality trait in some people. He would also lead his Football team and this is a testament to his born leadership qualities. But he thinks that nobody is perfect nor are the leaders. We all commit mistakes and the need is to constantly improve ourselves with the feedback we receive from people around us. He likes to be aligned with people as per their personality types rather than being rigid to them to get things done and this is his leadership style too.

He considers Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles as his role models in the field of Music. Besides, he also considers Nicola Tesla, Steve Jobs, Leonardo Da Vinci, etc., as his role models.
