Learning business lessons from his uncle, Jayesh finally took a plunge to follow his passion for photography and later converted it into his profession as well.

Jayesh is a Destination-wedding Photographer based in Udaipur city.

Jayesh hails from Udaipur. He says that initially, he worked with his uncle to learn his parental business of dry fruit selling and learned many business lessons from him. However, since he was also interested in photography since childhood, later he took to photography full-time.

Initially, Jayesh worked as a freelance Photographer with one of the renowned studios in the city. And then in 2008, he founded his own studio by the name, “Jayesh Photography.” in Udaipur itself. Jayesh says that he initially started with Cinematography and then he started doing photography for destination weddings in the city. He would upload snippets of his photography on social media and from there, he started getting more and more inbound clients.

Talking about his achievements in life, Jayesh says that he still has a lot to achieve in life. However, being able to capture precious moments of people’s lives and getting respect for his work from them is an achievement for him.

His Success Mantra is to give his one hundred percent to whatever he does.

Jayesh has learned from different people at different times in life. Though, he considers his uncle and brother-in-law as his major inspirations and role models.

In the future, Jayesh aspires to expand his photography business to different cities in the world and get international clients.

Talking about Covid, Jayesh says that during the pandemic many people had to face tough times. But he personally did not have to face any challenges during the pandemic. He spent his time with his family. Besides, he tried to help his acquaintances in need to the best of his capacity.

In his spare time, Jayesh likes to sing songs and spend time with his family and friends.

Jayesh thinks that in life both Education and Experience are important. He says that if you’re well educated then you can work better and gain good work experience.

Jayesh is of the opinion that it’s important to work with the team like a team member and not as a boss or leader to be able to get things done.

To upcoming photographers, Jayesh advises them never to imitate any photographer as everyone works differently. Besides, he advises them to understand their client's requirements first and then deliver them accordingly. Furthermore, he advises them not to fall into the trap of bogus award ceremonies to gain recognition and instead just let the quality of their work be their mouthpiece.

To youngsters, Jayesh’s message is to respect your dreams, respect your parents, and always remain focused on your goals.
