Jaya Pathak is a tuition teacher and a homemaker. She hails from Varanasi, where she completed her basic education and later graduated from Banaras Hindu University. Jaya has done her MA from Vidya Bhawan.
Recalling her childhood, Jaya reminisces about the good old days spent near the waters of the Ganga with her father and siblings. She also remembers fond memories of her childhood, as she grew up in a joint family celebrating festivals with her dear ones.
Talking about her teaching endeavours, Jaya shares that she and her brother began by opening their own coaching centre at home. Later on, she started teaching in schools. In the present time, Jaya teaches at home only owing to her health problems.
Describing her struggles, Jaya says that since her husband was not doing well financially, she stepped in and continued with her teaching to have a stable life.
When asked about her role models, Jaya says she draws inspiration from her father, who always taught him not to lie and to become an honest person.
Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Jaya says she feels that a balance of both education and experience is a must to keep going in life.
Sharing one of her past mistakes, Jaya says she regrets not being able to study further due to an incident that happened when she was pursuing her MA. Thereafter, she was asked by her father not to continue with her studies. Jaya laments not convincing her father about the same.
If Jaya could go back in time via a time machine, she would relive her childhood and rectify the mistakes that she made.
Jaya advises all students to keep studying, trying, and working hard.
Her hobbies include singing, cooking, and stitching.
