Your life is what you make it.
Jatin Gupta is eponymously known as Inspiring Jatin. He is a TEDx Speaker and Life Transformation and Relationship Mastery Coach.
Jatin was born in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. He grew up in a joint family. Later, with an aim to give him a good education, his parents shifted into a nuclear family. He did his schooling from Cambridge Foundation School in New Delhi and did his Bachelors in Commerce from Delhi University.
Jatin says that he would enjoy being on stage in school. He would love participating in and organizing debates and other activities at school. However, when he was sixteen his father passed away and owing to that he had to work to support himself. Leveraging his good English communication skills he chose to work in the BPO sector.
Jatin shares that he worked in the corporate sector for about fourteen years for Fortune-500 companies before finding his calling for Life Coaching. He claims to have touched more than twenty thousand lives with his motivational sessions. Furthermore, he also claims to have a few motivational books to his credit.
Talking about Covid, Jatin says that the pandemic was a tough time for everyone and he was no exception. He says that the pandemic might have further exacerbated his situation as he was separated from his wife and child. However, finding an opportunity in adversity, he ended up writing his first book based on his life experiences. He also got laid off from his job but this was the time he got into Life Coaching full-time. And he was also able to reconcile with his life partner and thus lead a happy life.
Jatin says that struggles are a part of everyone’s life and he was no exception in that regard. He didn’t have a good childhood. Growing up he would see his parents quarrel. He would have to face bullies at school. He lost his father when he was just sixteen. But in hindsight, he thinks that those tough times made him stronger and the person that he is today.
Jatin thinks that nobody is a born leader. In his opinion, Leadership is an acquired skill. He was not a born leader. He learned leadership from his seniors at the organizations he worked for.
Jatin believes that Education is important as it lays the foundation for one’s life and career. However, he is of the opinion that besides formal education, life education should also be taught to children so that they can deal with their emotions and ups and downs in life. He says education and life skills combined together will make a successful life.
His Success Mantra is Where There’s a Will There’s a Way.
To people his piece of advice is to get into a field only if you are completely interested in it and not because it offers good money.
