Jashraj Kumawat is the owner of Kumawat Restaurant in Pushkar.

Jashraj hails from a village near Pushkar. He spent his childhood there at his maternal grandparents' house. He was more interested in games like Kabaddi in his childhood. He completed his education until the tenth grade and then started working to fulfill his responsibilities towards his family.

Jashraj shares that initially he worked as a waiter and then learned to cook. Afterwards, he decided to open his own restaurant. Currently, he also takes catering orders for events like marriages, parties, etc.

Sharing his COVID experiences, Jashraj says that it was a tough time for him. At the time of the pandemic, everything was shut down, and there was no work and no income. Slowly, he started working as a bailment and daily wage worker. Fortunately, now everything is settled, and he has again started his restaurant.

Jashraj’s role models are his father and elder brother, as he learned a lot from them and always tried to follow them.

Jashraj advises the young generation to first complete their basic education, as education gives them the power to understand things and choose the right path. He thinks one should have a clear vision and a fixed goal in life to achieve the desired success.

Comparing education and experience, Jashraj says that experience played a more important role in his life as he is less educated. He achieved success by gaining experience in his field.

In his free time, Jashraj likes to spend time with his friends.

Even if given a time machine to go back in time, Jashraj would not like to do that, as he wants to enjoy the present moment and focus on a better future.
