Jai Prakash is a learned educationist who is devotedly serving the institution from where he received his own education.

Jai Prakash Shrimali is a Head of Department at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College.

Jai Prakash hails from Udaipur. He did his schooling and Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Vidya Bhawan institute.

Jai joined Seva Mandir after completing his Diploma in 1985. There, he worked for rural development around Udaipur. After some time, he joined the Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College with a vision of serving society. Later on, Jai pursued his MTech in Construction Technology at NITTTR, to gain even more knowledge and employ it in the development of the institution.

Recalling his school days, Jai says that, even in those days,  the institution kept up with its motto of overall development of a  child. He says that during his schooling, he took part in various joyful extra-curricular activities. He further says that he tries to serve with this motto itself.

Sharing his COVID experience, Jai says that he worked ardently to develop a framework to provide students with effective online education during the pandemic. He, along with other members of his institution, also managed to collect a donation from the Alumni Association and developed a smart studio in the college.

Jai’s College Principal and thesis mentor - Mr.  BL Jain is his role model. Jai says that he not only taught them but was also instrumental in developing crucial life skills in students.
