Hukma, a shiksha shastri and purohit, inspires the young generation to do philanthropy and enhance their abilities through his storytelling

Acharya Hukma Ram Shastri is a Purohit and the founder of “Shri Ganpati Jyotish Darbar Gavvalu” society in Pushkar.

Hukma received his education of Shiksha Shastri Acharya from Sri Rama Vaikunth Sanskrit PG College, Pushkar.

Hukma was born and brought up in a small village in Nagaur district.  He received his school education from a nearby village, Khajwana.

Remembering his childhood, Hukma says his grandfather had a well-established business and he gave him a good childhood with all the luxuries of life. His father taught him the basics of agriculture and advised him to always follow the “Sanatan dharma”. As a child he was always motivated and encouraged to do charity and help the needy.

Describing his COVID experience, Hukma says he was in Mumbai during that period and got stuck there because of the lockdown. But he managed to reach Rajasthan border anyhow and then he purchased a bicycle and reached his place enjoying and traveling crossing through various places. He spent more than twenty days traveling by bicycle and living a life like a sage.

When asked which is more crucial education or experience, Hukma says education is a must for the overall development of a person. However, he adds that experience enhances the knowledge of a person.

He thinks that the new generation should get a good education And, along with the upliftment of their lives, they should also fulfill their responsibility towards their birthplace. He encourages the youth to try to focus on their goals and reach heights in life.
