Hitesh Solanki is a tattoo artist from Surat, Gujarat. He has been working in this field for the past eight years.

Hitesh was born in the Junagadh district of Gujarat in the Saurashtra region. After his schooling he did A.T.D. (Art Teacher Diploma) from a college in Vadhwan city, Surendranagar. From there itself, he also completed his Fine Arts course of five years.

Hitesh says that he learned art from his guru, Laxman Ji who was a cultural artist and Hitesh got to learn a lot from him.

Hitesh says that tattoo is not just about creating designs but is a form of surgical work. One should properly learn about skin types and work on different types before taking customers.

Hitesh first learned from one of his friends in Rajkot who works as a celebrity tattoo artist. Then he also learned from Deepak Khenee, owner of Baba Tattoo Studio in Surat.

Talking about his achievements, Hitesh says that successfully doing portrait and full sleeve tattoo art is an achievement for him.

Hitesh advises the youth who want to come into this field to take proper training before entering. Also, one should not get demotivated when customers are less and each day is not the same, is what he feels.
