Hitesh Kothari is a simple man living a life of principles and positivity.  A friend of students more than a teacher, he is proudly building future Pharmacists at the B.N. College of Pharmacy.

Hitesh Kothari has been working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the B.N. College of Pharmacy in Udaipur since 2005.

Hitesh belongs to Phalasiya but completed his education at Udaipur. His father is a successful businessman in the village and his mother is a homemaker. Hitesh wanted to become a doctor and help the people, which he is eventually fulfilling through his Pharmaceutical knowledge.

Hitesh completed his B.Pharma from B.N. College of Pharmacy and started doing a Pharmacy Business. He did business for six years before switching to the teaching profession. His friends motivated him to take up teaching and join B.N. College as a faculty. One of his friends enrolled him in the M.Pharm course to complete his education and keep Hitesh motivated at the same time. After completing his masters, Hitesh joined B.N. College as a Professor and has been working there since then.

Hitesh idolises his school Principal and Sanskrit teacher, Shri Narayan Sharma, whose personality, memory, kindness, and compassion inspired him immensely. He joyfully tells us that his principal to date remembers all his students by name and face and keeps in touch with them via phone calls. Moreover, one of Hitesh’s batchmates from the Bachelors course was his mentor and guide during his Masters course.

During the first wave of Covid, Hitesh felt confused and ambiguous. He watched the loss of education of his students but felt helpless. However, he spent lots of time with his family and kids. But, during the second wave, he got infected with the virus and suffered for a month. After he recovered, his parents got down with the virus. The pandemic times taught him the truths of life.

Hitesh enjoys old Bollywood music, spending time with his kids and parents, and gardening during his leisure time. He also likes to read spiritual books.

If Hitesh gets a way to travel back in time, he would want to relive his eleventh and twelfth class school days and would also like to become a doctor.

According to Hitesh, both Education and Experience are crucial factors for growth. Education develops the right mindset and Experience is gained with the perspectives developed from it.

Hitesh tries to be a friend to his students more than a teacher. He does so, so that the students feel free to connect, share, learn, and ask any queries that they might be having. He likes to work smoothly without creating hassles. Hitesh is a cool-headed guy who likes to avoid unnecessary communication or negative judgements.

Hitesh advises all the students to fulfil their dreams with patience, hard work and determination.

Hitesh listens to the song ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’, whenever he needs motivation in life.
