Hitesh, a graffiti and portrait artist from Noida, has been in the field for 23 years. Despite facing financial hardships and leaving school after 10th grade, he honed his painting skills by observing other artists and practicing under experienced mentors. Today, he continues to evolve his craft, particularly enjoying graffiti.

Recalling his childhood, Hitesh says that he was born into a poor family and faced financial problems. He was not much interested in studying. He left school after 10th grade. He learned to paint by just looking at other artists' work.

Sharing about his journey, Hitesh says that he was attracted to painting from the very beginning and practised it for years under experienced artists. He was freelancing and earning money by writing on walls, and he was inspired by one of the artists, Bhim. He met a school teacher who taught him art for eight years. Then he decided to do something on his own. He started taking up the work of doing advertisement paintings and road paintings. In between, he stopped doing this work but again started with new synergy and took up every job to earn as much as he could. He says that one of his clients helped him make his profile on social media, which helped his career grow. He likes working on graffiti the most.

Talking about his mistakes, Hitesh says that once he had a fight with someone in his school, due to which he had to leave the school, and he regrets that if he had completed his education, he would have done much better in his field.

Hitesh’s life mantra is to spend his earnings judiciously on his personality and investing in the arts, saving the remainder for his family. He advises everyone to stay away from addiction, take up every kind of work, and learn new things continuously.
