Hemlata Shrimali has been teaching Art and Craft from first to twelfth grade at Alok Senior Secondary School in Rajsamand.
Hemlata was born and brought up in Udaipur. She completed her education up to twelfth in Udaipur itself. She is an M.A. in Painting.
Talking about her entry into the field of art and craft, Hemlata says that she was so inspired by her school teacher that she decided to make her career in the Arts field. She likes to teach drawing and different types of art to the students.
Sharing about her journey in life, Hemlata says that she makes new things from waste materials. She also teaches her students to make the best use of waste materials.
When asked about role models in her life, Hemlata says that she considers her father as her role model who always motivated her to think about the future. She learned from him that we should not waste our time in repenting about the past.
In her free time, Hemlata likes to do stitching and make new things.
Sharing her childhood memories, Hemlata says that she was the most pampered daughter in her family. Her parents and her elder sisters used to fulfill all her demands, shares Hemlata.
Sharing about her Covid experience, Hemlata says that it was difficult for her to stay at home. So to pass her time, she did canvas paintings at her home, made new wall crafts and renovated her home during the pandemic.
To the aspirants in the field of art and craft, Hemlata advises them that they can make a bright career in this field. There are many courses like fashion designing or other designing courses that need expertise in art and craft skills. So one should not think that there are fewer opportunities in the field of art and craft.
