Hemant Upadhyay has been working in Alok Sansthan in Udaipur for the past thirty-eight years. He is posted as a Chief Accountant there. Along with this, he is also a Treasurer of the National Education Committee of this Sansthan.
Hemant belongs to Udaipur. Due to the government job of his parents, he also lived in Bikaner for fifteen years. He did his schooling from Bikaner itself. After coming back to Udaipur, he resumed his education here. He did his M.com from M.B. College.
Hemant says that in his childhood, he used to make stereo and amplifiers on his own for his entertainment. Even after growing up, he learned the accounting software Tally and accounting himself. In addition, he can do by himself any mechanical or repair work related to computers or any other hardware.
Talking about his role models, Hemant says he considers his father as his role model. In his professional career, he considers his father’s friend Shri Acharya ji as his role model because under his guidance, he has reached this position today.
Describing his struggles, Hemant says that his father passed away in 2014. Since then all the responsibilities of the household fell on his shoulders. That phase of his life was quite challenging for him.
Hemant says that during the COVID pandemic, he got to spend a lot of time with his family after a long time. But at the same time, he could not make good use of time because everything was closed.
When asked about his ideas about leadership, Hemant says that he considers Pradeep Kumawat, the director of Alok Sansthan, as a leader as he takes everyone along and thinks for the interest of others as well.
In his spare time, Hemant likes listening to music.
If Hemant gets a chance to time travel through a Time Machine, he would like to go back to his childhood and live it again.
Hemant tells the youth that it is difficult to apply practically what you read in books. So you can get experience of any work only after learning it under the supervision of your seniors.
