Hemant shares that during COVID, they had to shut down their classes and shift to online mode. He feels that ground training is important for students of physical education, but the theory part was successfully covered in online mode as well. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Hemant made sure to adapt to the situation and provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. He organized virtual workshops and interactive sessions to supplement the practical training that was temporarily unavailable. Hemant believes that this approach helped students maintain their interest in physical education and continue their academic progress despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic.
Hemant considers Dr. C. P. Singh Bhati, Principal of BNCPE, Udaipur, as his role model. He feels that Dr. Singh’s style of teaching, his management of the class, his proactive approach towards students, and his dedication towards his field are truly inspirational, and Hemant has learned a lot from them. Hemant admires Dr. Singh's ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment, which has motivated Hemant to adopt similar strategies in his own teaching. Additionally, Hemant appreciates Dr. Singh's emphasis on the holistic development of students, encouraging them to excel not only in academics but also in sports and extracurricular activities.
Hemant desires to use a time machine to revisit his school years and relive moments with his friends, cherishing the laughter and innocence of those days. He believes that reliving these moments would bring immense joy and nostalgia, allowing him to recapture the happiness and simplicity of his youth.
Hemant advises individuals pursuing sports professions to focus on physical education and sports, which offer diverse employment opportunities but require dedication and hard work. Emerging fields like sports Engineering and sports photography are growing, but meticulous work is crucial. Physical education and sports not only promote personal development but also enhance wellbeing. Professionals should study sports psychology and sports management to expand their perspectives and influence the field, says Hemant.
