Inspired by her sister, Heena studied Home Science but eventually switched her career to textile designing.

Heena Salvi is a Textile Designer. She has been working at VCD College of Design for the last one year in Udaipur.

Heena was born and brought up in Udaipur. When she was in 11th class, she desired to do B.Sc in Home Science because her elder sister had also done this course. However, after her graduation in home science, she did a three-year diploma course in textile designing.

Talking about her Covid experience, Heena says that her family was infected by the Coronavirus. She had to look after her family and also conduct online classes for the students. So, the pandemic was a hard time for her.

To the aspirants of textile designing, Heena advises them that they should work hard.  They should learn more and more from their teachers and from other sources also to achieve heights in this industry.

When free, Heena likes to do painting and designing. She also likes to spend her spare time with her daughter.
