Everyone has their own rules, situations and resources in life and a different perspective altogether. The only solution is to be optimistic at all times.

Harshita Jain, who was born and brought up in Udaipur, is a teacher by profession at Abhinav School. She had completed her schooling at Central Academy and Guru Nanak Public School. Thereafter, she went to Meera Girls College where she got selected in a BPO through campus recruitment. Fortunately, her parents agreed to send her outside and she flew to Pune where she worked in a corporate company for one and a half years.
After gaining some exposure and experience, she came back to Udaipur and worked for the newspaper Rajasthan Patrika for a few months. Then she got married in 2009 and worked as a housewife for some time. Since Harshita had worked before, she wanted to hit the job sector yet again and break the monotony of just being in the household chores with her two children to take care of. With the support of her husband and in-laws, she was allowed to take up only teaching jobs and that is when she joined Abhinav School as an English teacher.
Discussing her childhood days, Harshita shares that she used to be a shy, studious and hardworking girl with a keen interest in teaching and studying. The transition from school to college introduced Harshita to the outside realities and opportunities involved.
During the lockdown, Harshita tried her hand at painting, cooking and dancing as well. She shares that since she did not have a Bachelor in Education which is required to teach in schools, she had to undergo certain difficulties in starting off her career in teaching. However, during the process, she learnt to be patient and how to deal with children. She gives credit to a teacher at Abhinav who helped her in getting used to the new environment.
For Harshita, education and experience go side by side like cross and bones. She says that one must have experience, as without experience one cannot educate and without education, one cannot have experience.
She considers her mother as a role model since she taught her to be positive and stay calm and quiet in all situations. She also believes one of her friends to be a role model whom she calls whenever she is nervous or confused and has been a constant support in times of difficulties.
For Harshita, leadership is one of the most important talents which she has tried to develop by maintaining a good bonding with the children and by creating a sophisticated environment in school.
As a message to the present generation, Harshita says that one must have the basic qualification required for a particular field in order to experience a smooth career journey and also suggests the youth to keep a positive outlook towards life.
