Following her childhood hobby of home styling and decor, Harshita decided to convert her hobby into a profession. Her only motto is to cater to her clients’ needs and satisfaction.

Harshita Agrawal is an Interior Stylist who has been in this profession for the last eight years.

Recalling her childhood, Harshita shares that she grew up around her cousins and family members and was often taught by her mother to stay organised and keep her surroundings clean. Harshita enjoyed organising little things at home, which she began doing as a hobby. Gradually, her interest in home decor and styling increased, and she decided to pursue it as a profession.

Talking about her professional journey, Harshita shares that she used to work in Surat before shifting to Ahmedabad, where she is currently working as a freelancer. She has done over nine projects so far, which include interior styling, photoshoot styling, etc. Harshita has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, followed by a Diploma in Interior Styling. She believes in maintaining good relationships with her clients and architects.

Discussing her struggles, Harshita says that every new project has been a challenge for her and that she has learned from those challenges. “Every project is a learning experience for me”, says Harshita.

Speaking of her achievements, Harshita says that being acknowledged by architects and making connections with them has been her greatest achievement.

When asked about her role models, Harshita says she draws inspiration from her friends and family members who identified her interests and supported her to pursue them.

Her hobbies include listening to good music, which also works as a stress buster for her. Harshita also goes for long drives in her free time.

Her life mantra is to do what you enjoy. On that note, Harshita advises everyone to not overstress themselves and keep their mental health in check. She adds that your health should be your top priority, and one should not do things merely to impress others.

In her message to aspiring interior stylists, Harshita says that this profession requires creativity in all aspects. She suggests stylists be well-prepared to talk to their clients and architects. Harshita advises them to put forward their thoughts and indulge in good communication combined with creativity.
