Along with pursuing law, Harshit also works for an NGO that looks after stray animals and thus does his bit for the society he lives in.

Harshit Soni is a student of law. Besides, he volunteers for UAF (Udaipur Animal Feed), an NGO that works for stray animals.

Harshit hails from Udaipur. Currently, he is pursuing an LLB from Singhania Law College in Udaipur and is in the second year of the same.

Harshit says that on his last birthday, he got to know about UAF and he spent his whole day volunteering for the NGO by feeding stray animals and it made him feel really good. Later, he decided to join the NGO and ever since has been going on the Sunday drives of it to help unvoiced creatures.

Harshit says that one doesn’t require any experience to join UAF. One just needs to have a fondness for animals to be able to join the NGO.

Talking about the challenges he faces in taking care of stray animals under the aegis of UAF, Rohit says that at times it gets really tough for the volunteers to convince people to let them do the work that they do.

When asked about his role models, Harshit says that his father, from whom he learns many things and who helps him with his emotional worries too, is his role model.

To the youth, Rohit advises them not to do drugs and instead channelize their energy in the right direction.
