Harshit Jain is a chartered accountant from Udaipur.
Harshit says that his childhood was spent in Jaisamand near Udaipur. He did his schooling till 10th standard from a government school there itself. For his 11th and 12th, he came to Udaipur and joined Alok Senior Secondary School. After that, he started preparing for the CA examinations.
Harshit shares that the transition from a Hindi medium school to one following an English medium was very tough for him. Also, he had to adjust to new friends in a completely new setup of city life and it took some time for him to do so.
Talking about his struggles, Harshit shares that he suffered from two physical problems: excessive sweating of palms and feet and the second one was tongue tying which resulted in stammering.
When asked about his role models, Harshit says that his mother, who is a government teacher, is his role model. Her struggles and journey in life inspire him a lot.
Harshit says that the success mantra he follows is to tell everyone around you about your dreams and aims so that whenever you meet them, you are reminded of your goals.
Sharing his views on the COVID-19 pandemic, Harshit says that losing our loved ones was a tragic part of this phase. Harshit adds that the positive aspect was getting time to self-analyze our weaknesses and working on them and learning new skills in life.
Harshit says that the field of chartered accountancy has good scope and is also creative and different from other fields. He says that one gets the knowledge of different vectors like taxation, accounts, costing, etc. which makes it a diverse field to work in.
In his free time, Harshit likes watching movies and playing games like cricket and volleyball.
