Initially, Harsh just started learning makeup art for his mother’s sake. However, in the process, he completely fell in love with it and today he claims to be India’s youngest makeup artist.

Harsh R Punjabi is a makeup artist based in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Harsh shares that from the beginning he had been fond of traveling. Therefore, he would always think that becoming a pilot would be an appropriate career choice for him to suit his interest. However, when he grew up, he realized that he was more interested in makeup art. In 2019, he started learning the art of makeup at an academy in Mumbai and after finishing his course, he started working as an independent makeup artist.

Harsh debunks the myth that working as a makeup artist is a glorious profession and it’s all about traveling places and enjoying oneself. He says this profession is more about your clients’ satisfaction and working closely with them and that requires a lot of effort.

To aspiring makeup artists, Harsh advises them to always use high-quality products on their clients. Besides, he advises them to develop an ability to gauge what skin products and types of makeup would blend well with their clients' facial features.

Talking about his achievements, Harsh says that despite being the youngest and a naive makeup artist, he received the gold medal and stood first in his batch upon completion of his makeup course.

With regard to his mistakes, Harsh says that initially when he began working as a makeup artist, he would be too stubborn to accept his mistakes. However, later he realized that he wouldn’t learn if he did not accept his mistakes and it helped him improve a lot.

His Life Mantra is to manifest things to eventually be able to achieve them.

To the youth, Harsh advises them to start working on their goals as soon as possible. As he thinks that one can learn faster during their growing up years due to their high grasping power.
