Fond of dancing since childhood, Haroon became a Dance Instructor who worked very hard to find platforms to showcase his talent and ultimately found his path to success.

Haroon Rao is a Dance Instructor and Director at Haroon Rao Dance World in Dehradun. He has also been into a reality show.

Haroon says that he was always interested in dancing since his childhood. He says that he used to get inspired by reality shows, worked hard, and eventually started getting opportunities. He gave auditions, got selected, went to Mumbai, took professional training, and finally started a studio of his own after the lockdown was lifted.

Recalling his childhood memories, Haroon says that his childhood had been through different paths. He says that initially when he wanted to  dance, there were not enough platforms, and neither did his parents support him to pursue his career in dancing. He was so much inclined towards dancing that he used to perform even at birthday parties and marriage functions. However, as and when dancing started getting recognition as a career opportunity, his family started supporting him and he is now doing good in his career, says Haroon.

Speaking about the challenges of his journey, Haroon says that the life of an artist is full of ups and downs even after they become successful. He says that his family did not have enough money to send him to dance classes to learn dance, and he used to learn from different online platforms. He says that earlier there were very few opportunities for artists, but now online platforms have given people the opportunity to learn and grow big in the field. He says that he failed once, but learned from that, improved himself, and moved forward.

Sharing his experiences, Haroon says that he is very happy with the field he has chosen. He says that the dancing field gives you a lot of respect, and you can always do things of your choice. Further, he adds that if you have experience, you will always move forward in life but without experience, it is very difficult to achieve things in life.

Regarding his mistakes, Haroon says that he has made several mistakes in his journey. He says that people make mistakes in life, but one should always learn the difference between good and bad and never repeat the mistakes.

Talking about his achievements, Haroon says that getting recognized by the teachers for his dancing skills in school was his first achievement. He says that he has also won a lot of state and national-level stage shows. Thereafter, he tried getting on television, he went to Mumbai and did a show and that was when he started getting fame. He started doing choreography in the industry and opened various studios. He says that all this would not have been possible if he wouldn’t dance in his life.

Speaking about his role models, Haroon says that his dance has been his role model. He says that his dancing talent is God-gifted to him, which has helped him realize his real identity.

Talking about stress, Haroon says that one feels stressed when he or she has no work to do. He says that if you have a goal in life, you will work hard to achieve it, and achieving your goal will ultimately help you get relieved of your stress.

Sharing his life mantra, Haroon says that he believes that if you are not able to achieve your goal today, you will be able to achieve it someday. You just need to keep working on your goal consistently with all your potential and hard work.
