Harish Panchal is a sales consultant in Autokam Honda, Udaipur. He has been in the automobile industry for 8 years now and has firm knowledge in the field.

Harish Panchal was born and brought up in a small village of Salumber. He completed his school and college from Salumber before coming to Udaipur. He studied at Hada Rani Govt. College in Salumber. He completed his post-graduation in Hindi and Sanskrit from M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur. After his graduation, he started his career with a job in RSRTC as a computer operator. After working there for some time, he switched his job and joined Samarth Honda, Udaipur as a cashier and accountant. In 2018, Harish joined Autokam Honda which is his current job, as a sales consultant.

Harish says it was very difficult to cope up with the situation initially, after his father passed away, as all the responsibility of his family came on his shoulders. He had to leave his preparation for examinations and work to support his family as he was the eldest in the family.

For someone who wants to join the automobile sector, Harish says they should have a thorough knowledge of the field. They should know what differentiates their products from the other products in the market. They should be able to convince clients and potential customers, by telling them the strengths of their products rather than telling them the weaknesses of their competitors. Harish believes the role of sales is very crucial in deciding the success of any product in the market.

His role model in life is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former president of India. He says the way he came from a small village to become the president, has always inspired him to do big things in life.

Harish thinks education gives us theoretical knowledge but not practical experience and that has hindered the growth of our Indian economy because Indians are theoretically strong but practically weak.

In his childhood, Harish had a dream to become an RAS officer but after the sudden demise of his father, he was left with no choice but to start working and support his family financially. And that led him to come to Udaipur to build up his career. If he could go back in time and change the course of his life, he would want to complete his studies and become an RAS officer.

His fond childhood memory was how his dad used to scold him because he was very mischievous.

Harish says he actively participates in all the social and cultural activities related to his caste and his country.

Although Harish spends most of his time in the office, on the weekends he likes to spend time with his family and also visits his mother once in a while.
