A Mother Teacher in a school, Gurujeet believes that the country can be served even by being in the teaching profession.

Gurujeet Kaur Bhalla is a Mother Teacher of LKG classes at Miranda Senior Secondary School in Udaipur. She has a keen interest in teaching and enjoys her work as she thinks that her teaching profession is giving her the opportunity to enjoy  life with kids.

Gurujeet was born and brought up in Guwahati. She did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Guwahati. She has done an M.A. in English Literature from Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Agra. She has also completed an advanced diploma in computers along with shorthand training.

Remembering the days of her struggle, Gurujeet says that her father died when she was studying in tenth class. But her mother brought her up well and got her whatever education she wanted to do. After marriage, her mother-in-law and her husband were very supportive to her in facing the changes that came in her life.

If she gets a chance to travel back in time via a time machine, Gurujeet would relive the time she spent with her father and her sisters.

When asked about her role models, Gurujeet says she considers her father, who was an army officer, as her role model. She says that it was her father who inspired her to serve the country by staying in the teaching profession.

When asked which is more important in life, education or experience, Gurujeet says that both are important. She says that one can get a good job opportunity only after receiving education through which one can gain experience. She believes proper use of education makes our experience rich.

Gurujeet’s message to the parents is not to discriminate against any of their children. She says do not discriminate between boys and girls regarding education and give them equal rights.
