Inspired by the audience's applause, Rajan became a dancer and moved ahead in his life to achieve his dream career.

Goldy Kalotra is a Choreographer. He runs his Dancing World Dance and Fitness Hub in Jammu. His real name is Rajan and his pet name is Goldy.

Rajan has studied General Nursing and Midwifery. He has also done a course in paramedical sciences. Rajan is a dance teacher. He entered this field because of the appreciation received from the audience.

Sharing his childhood memories, Rajan says he cherishes the memories of his morning walks with his friends. He says that once he was beaten by his P.T. Sir for breaking school property. Though it was not his fault, he learned discipline in life. He thanks his teacher for beating him.

Talking about his entry into the field of choreography, Rajan says that he didn’t even know the basics of dance in his childhood. He danced for the first time in the marriage of one of his relatives. The sound of clapping extremely excited him and he was greeted by the smiles of everyone around him. This made him decide to become a dancer. Later, he was selected for a Reality Show by Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu. He received an award and much appreciation for his performance in the show. That time somebody advised him to open a dance institute and Rajan was motivated to start his dance classes. Students started pouring in and Rajan kept progressing quickly.

When asked about role models in his life, Rajan says that he considers his parents as his role models who always supported him. He also considers Prime Minister Narendra Modi whose rules of life have inspired him, as his role model. He also considers Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, whose dressing and talking style motivates him to be active as an inspiration.

When free, Goldy likes to spend time with his mother and father. He also likes to spend time with children and enjoy being with them.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Goldy says that education is extremely important because one can get experience any time, but education cannot be gained every time. So education is a must and more important than experience.

Even if a Time Machine is given to him, Rajan would not want to go back in time. He feels satisfied with his achievements.

Advising the aspirants to the dance field, Rajan says that they should appreciate everyone, respect their teachers and elders and stop criticizing any student. Goldy feels that nowadays students are extremely smart and quickly understand their abilities and grasp all the steps immediately.

To everyone, Rajan advises observing every small thing and always staying happy. He also advises us to come out of our comfort zone and live a healthy life.
