Giriraj has tried his hand in several endeavors and is now running a Cafe in a popular mall of Udaipur.

Giriraj Vaishnav runs a cafe called Blues Row Cafe located inside the popular Celebration Mall of Udaipur.

Earlier he has tried doing many things. He had a Tent House business and had also helped his father in his motor body building garage. When he was young, he also used to work in Coca-Cola’s Mewar Bottling Plant in the evening shift after his school hours.

Describing his cafe BRC, Giriraj shares that it is a family restaurant and bar. They organise DJ parties and encourage dancing and clubbing to attract their customers there. They also have live music, karaoke music and customised private parties.

Giriraj says before the onset of the Covid pandemic, his cafe was doing very good business. But, Corona had a huge effect on the business. Even after norms were eased out a bit, due to the night curfew, thay had limited footfall. They had to retrench staff and could not pay them full salaries. Now, things are getting normal slowly. On the other hand, he says, he got an opportunity to spend time with his family, which otherwise he was never able to.

To newcomers joining the restaurant business, his advice is that they must build close and friendly relations with their customers and focus on marketing their restaurants well. They should have attractive schemes like Happy Hours etc to bring more customers to their restaurants.

Giriraj says he has developed leadership qualities through his work only. He treats his staff in a brotherly way.

His future goals are to expand the network of his brand by giving franchises in different cities.

His message for everyone is to focus on your work with passion and not to give a damn to what others think about you.
