Facing an unstable financial condition in her family, Gaurika joined her husband in the beauty industry, and today both of them are working hard to live a good life.

Gaurika Sen has been working at Champion Hair Salon for the last four years. She belongs to a village and shifted to Udaipur after her marriage.

Gaurika shares that her husband was in the salon business, and she decided to lend a helping hand in the same profession owing to their bad financial condition. Gaurika has only completed the tenth grade.

Talking about her challenges, Gaurika says that when she initially started learning the nitty-gritty of beauty treatment, she was sceptical if she would be able to make it. But she placed enough faith in herself and now caters to all her clients confidently.

Sharing her pandemic experience, Gaurika says that she and her husband went back to their village for a few months and came back only when the situation normalised.

Speaking about her achievements, Gaurika says that she felt delighted when a US client appreciated her for her services, which was a happy and sweet moment for her.

When asked about her role models, Gaurika says she draws inspiration from her best friend, who has been her constant support in times of struggle. She is also a great believer in God.

In her message to aspiring salon artists, Gaurika says that this industry comes with learning outcomes and has immense scope to offer.

Gaurika enjoys spending time with her child and doing stitching work in her spare time.
