Talking about the pandemic, Gaurav shares that the most difficult time for him was laying off employees and making them understand the need of doing so. On the personal front, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
For aspiring engineers who wish to join this industry, Gaurav says that one needs to be patient, obedient and have a forever learning attitude to excel in this field. He shares that in the fifteen years of his industrial experience, he has been learning at every step.
Gaurav considers his father who is a civil engineer as his role model and took inspiration from him to become an engineer. He has also learnt from his boss and Director at Pyrotech to have a vision and is inspired by their never-ending quest for learning.
Gaurav has incorporated certain leadership skills from his seniors and his father. In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family and kids, play cricket, and listen to music. If he could go back in a time machine, he would like to relive his childhood summer holidays when his entire family used to meet in Mathura and have fun.
