Gaurav is a Freelance Wedding Photographer and loves traveling. He feels the Digital Age has trapped kids in the online world and they are missing the real essence of life which is outdoors.

Gaurav Uday Kumar Joshi is from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He has done a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Gaurav says that he has many hobbies like traveling on his bike, and playing musical instruments like Guitar, Tabla, and flute. He is also a freelance photographer for the past four years. He takes inspiration from Ajay Padwal, who is a downhill mountain biking athlete.

Gaurav reveals that his musical journey started because of her sister who was learning classical singing. He also joined the same institute and started learning Tabla. He learned it for six years. Later on, he also learned Guitar for six months. Gaurav says that he started doing Photography seeing his friend Ashish Langde who was into Photography and he only introduced Gaurav to this field.

Gaurav feels that his childhood was much better than what children have these days. He used to roam around on his bicycle, play with his friends and do outdoor activities. However, he laments that today’s kids are stuck in their phones and are only aware of the digital age. They are disconnected from the outside world is what Gaurav feels.

Gaurav says that the fear of being average kept him motivated. He says that he always wanted to do something great in life and create an identity for himself. He wants to bring a change around him through his actions.

Gaurav says that his Success Mantra in life is 3 D’s: Dedication, Determination, and Devotion.

He feels that the mistake that he has made in his life is not taking his passions seriously. He feels that he did not put the right effort at the right time in Photography and hence lagged behind. When his peers were getting good projects and were getting paid for them, he was not getting much work. However, he refined his skills and polished himself. He says that now he is getting some good projects and his work is fine now.

In his free time, Gaurav likes to travel on his bike and spend time with his family and friends.
