Garima is an entrepreneur and thinks that we can take motivation from even kids around us.

Garima Kakani is from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She has done B.Com. and M.B.A. in Marketing and Human Resources.

Garima runs a small business of Handmade Greeting Cards. She started it in her hometown, Kankroli, Rajsamand. Earlier, she used to make big cards which were higher priced. Then she started making small-sized cards which got more popular in her small town.

Garima says that during the pandemic, her business almost stopped. Everyone was at home and started learning to make cards hence her orders were reduced. She decided to go digital and started making Digital cards which were again a hit.

Garima shares that her Role Model is her mother. Her mother has struggled a lot in her life. She always persuaded Garima to learn new things in life and never stop learning. Her mother was a multi-tasker herself and never sat idle.

Garima takes motivation from small children and feels that they come up with innovative ideas for playing and doing naughty things very quickly. She also desires to have this kind of quick brain for herself.

Garima shares that her hobbies are Gardening, playing different sports like Badminton, and reading books.

गरिमा हैंडमेड ग्रीटिंग कार्ड्स का एक छोटा सा बिजनेस चलाती हैं। उन्होंने इसे अपने गृहनगर कांकरोली, राजसमंद में शुरू किया। पहले वह बड़े कार्ड बनाती थी जिसकी कीमत अधिक होती थी। फिर उन्होंने छोटे आकार के कार्ड बनाना शुरू किया जो उनके छोटे शहर में अधिक लोकप्रिय हो गया।

गरिमा का कहना है कि महामारी के दौरान उनका कारोबार लगभग ठप हो गया। सभी लोग घर पर थे और कार्ड बनाना सीखने लगे इसलिए उनके ऑर्डर कम कर दिए गए। उन्होंने डिजिटल जाने का फैसला किया और डिजिटल कार्ड बनाना शुरू कर दिया जो फिर से हिट हो गया।
