Gargi Viral Vora is an Office Assistant in the Forest Office in Bhuj. She has been working there for the past 15 years.
Gargi's birthplace was Junagadh. Later, she married and relocated to Bhuj. One year into her marriage, in 2001, Bhuj was struck by a devastating earthquake. Because things had gotten bad in Bhuj, she had to start working to support her family. Her first employment required her to work on computers at the collector's office. She then had a job at a school. She is now handling accounting-related tasks at the forest office.
Whenever she needed even the smallest assistance to operate a computer, she would contact her spouse. Her hubby gave her a lot of encouragement to study everything. Her in-laws, her mother and father, gave her a lot of assistance and also took care of her small kid.
Speaking about the difficulties she has had to face, Gargi states that she suffered greatly since, when she first started working, she had no idea how to operate in an office. She was forced to hear criticism from others. She disliked leaving her small boy with her spouse. After a while, her father-in-law became unwell, which meant she had to take care of both of them in addition to managing the office duties. She considered leaving the position several times, but she persisted and diligently learnt office work. She is currently content with her work and doesn't even miss her previous employment.
Gargi states that her spouse serves as her role model. She claims that her spouse gave her all her education and unwavering support. She views her parents and parents-in-law as her mentors in her personal life.
She likes cooking and doing housework in her spare time. She enjoys reading children's books and taking long walks.
One of Gargi's success mantra is "There is no substitute to hard work."
Gargi suggests that young people should restrict the amount of time they spend on their phones. She gives young people advice on how to work hard at anything they choose to do.
