An avid reader and observer, Ganesh became a Personal Branding Coach, and helps people speak out their minds.

Ganesh Vancheeswaran considers himself a catalyst for self-expression by people. He inspires people to express their feelings in different formats and ways.

He works in four different genres of expressing oneself. Firstly, as a Personal Branding Coach, he helps people build their individual brand. Second, he is a Writer, and writes content for  businesses and articles for publications across the globe. Third, he is an Editor of books and a Book and Writing Coach, and he helps in refining manuscripts and getting them published. Lastly, he is also a Voice Over Artist, who lends his voice to projects like Corporate Films, Podcasts and Training videos.

Ganesh started off his career as an Advertising Professional and worked on Brand Communication and branding strategies for a long time in the corporate world. In the meantime, one of his books about young successful entrepreneurs was published, which impressed people and everyone appreciated him a lot. That’s when he realised that he had a flair for writing and from there his writing journey started. Yet his desire to do something else in life did not end so he kept trying to look more into himself. Slowly, he went into the editing field and excelled in it too. Soon, he tried to cash in on his prolonged branding experience by becoming a Personal Branding Coach. Amidst all this, he got an offer to lend his voice for a corporate film, which got a  fabulous response from people and he ended up becoming a Voice Over Artist.

Talking about his childhood, Ganesh says that he studied in about seven different schools and lived in multiple cities of the country due to his father’s transferable job. He experienced the multicultural and multilingual environment in his childhood and was always interested in playing Cricket and reading books. But he always spent his summer vacations at his grandparents’ place in Kerala which are his fondest childhood memories. He did his B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics after schooling.

Ganesh considers his ex-boss TJS Babu as his role model because he helped him maintain his professional aura and move forward. His parents are also his role models as they did everything they could for him. He draws inspiration from his teachers also for achieving a lot today.

When asked about his struggles, Ganesh shares that in his desire to become an entrepreneur, he joined hands with two of his friends after eight years of his advertising job and started a Consulting company. But only after two years, he had to close that company because the two partners cheated him in business. As a result, he had to quit with a huge loss and even got entangled in legal matters. All his dreams were shattered and he had to face many difficulties during that phase, which he tackled well.

Ganesh says that Covid gave everyone a very difficult phase to cope up with and had caused uproar everywhere. He was also troubled like everyone else and was deeply saddened by what was going on with the people, but he kept his family and hopes alive. On a professional front, his work grew during this period as he was not in any job or associated with any company. So being a freelancer, he made progress in his career.

According to Ganesh, Education and Experience go hand in hand and have their roles to play. He adds on by saying that education gives us a formal grounding, conceptual structure, framework and a path to move on towards the right direction in our early days. He says that after getting a formal basic education, you can go out to gain experience in life but that much education is necessary to choose any field.

Ganesh believes that to be a good leader, you should have good communication skills, compassion and empathy. A good leader always guides his team members to move on the right path and achieve group goals.

If Ganesh gets a chance to go back in time, he would like to relive his childhood. Apart from this, if he gets a chance, instead of Engineering, he would pursue Journalism or Mass Communication or Languages.
