You’ll never reach perfection because there’s always room for improvement.
Ganesh Karangade is a freelance Artist and has been in this profession for the past eight years. Currently, he is running an art studio as ‘Bappa’s Art Studio & Academy’ in Indore. There he provides a platform to artists and art students to enhance their skills and make a career out of it.
Ganesh belongs to Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He says that he was extremely passionate about Football in his school time and wanted to make his career in Football. But coming from a middle class family, his parents asked him to focus on studies instead of sports. Moving forward, his interest developed in Painting and Drawing. After doing some research in this field and at the behest of his teacher, he did BFA in Painting, Sculpture and modern style of Art. Then he did his MFA from Government Institute of Finance, Indore.
About his achievements, Ganesh says that he finds happiness in rewards more than awards. Moreover, he has done multiple exhibitions of fine art in different cities of the country like Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Goa and Vadodara, which is no less than an achievement for him.
Ganesh says that the Covid pandemic has impacted his business a lot. He used to work in the commercial sector but after the imposition of the lockdown, when all businesses were closed, he too got stuck due to non-availability of orders. On the personal front, his sister passed away some time ago, due to which he was quite upset. And then the terror of this disease made him more troubled as he lost six of his friends to Covid-19. But to keep himself positive, he did a few online certification courses related to his art.
Ganesh advises the aspiring artists that instead of taking the advice of others in your art, try to find faults in it yourself, make improvements in your further work and you will see that you will keep getting better at your work.
