An author and consultant, Gajanan Shirke is helping standalone hotels find their path to success. He feels that communication and connection are what take a person ahead in their field.

Gajanan Shirke is an author and consultant running his own firm, Strategic Hotels Pvt. Ltd.

Gajanan has authored thirty-four books on different hospitality subjects, helping standalone hotels in setting their operations and helping them in revenue management.

Gajanan has done Hotel Management from NIHM, Bhubaneshwar. He has done an MBA as well and is now preparing for his Ph.D.

Gajanan shares that he started working from the young age of twelve due to some circumstances. After his graduation, he got to work in some good hotels and under great mentors. One such mentor, Mr. Kamath inspired him to write books and that is how his journey in the field of writing began.

Talking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Gajanan says that it hit every hotelier adversely. He did seventy different courses online and wrote seven books during this time. He also worked in establishing Oxygen Concentrator plants at different hospitals under CSR.

Gajanan advises the youth to perfect their subject matter and to be at par with challenges in life.

In his free time, Gajanan likes to cook and spend time with his family.
