Faraz is a passionate tattoo artist who loves to play with tattoos and ink them on people to give a lasting impression on their minds and bodies.

Faraz Javed has been working as a professional Tattoo Artist in Kanpur for the last eleven years. His studio is the first tattoo studio of Uttar Pradesh. Faraz is into tattoo making, tattoo removal, and tattoo training.

Faraz did his schooling from Kanpur. Thereafter, he did his MBA with a major in International Marketing and minor in Finance. Faraz has also done an M.Com and a course in Fashion Designing. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Fine Arts.

Before getting into the tattoo industry, Faraz worked as an Air Hostess Trainer at Frankfinn Institute and Avalon Aviation Academy. He provided his services there for two years as a Personality Development Trainer and a Communications Expert. Later, Faraz came to know about the tattoo industry and got interested in it as he had a good command on sketching and painting.

Talking about his initial challenges, Faraz says that when he started his journey as a tattoo artist, not many people knew about this art. He had to visit many public spaces and use different marketing techniques like seminars to make people aware of this art. Faraz adds that now  tattoos have become a trend and many movie stars have gotten themselves inked, and after which it has become easy for him to convince people and get clients.

Talking about his achievements, Faraz says he started his career as a cricketer and played for the India-under 15 team. He has been to England and Australia and represented India in these foreign nations. Thereafter, Faraz switched to the education industry upon turning eighteen and started training people as the youngest trainer. He also worked in a BPO and was awarded the Best Fresher Telecaller in the company. Faraz has been interviewed by NDTV, Aaj Tak, and many YouTubers.

Faraz’s mantra for success lies in his professionalism. As an artist, he has never worked for money but always worked to achieve perfection in his art. Faraz believes that if one runs after their passion and perfection, then money automatically follows.

Faraz advises the youth not to run after degrees and percentages. He adds that even if someone is not good at studying, they can still achieve great things in life. Only your enthusiasm and passion are what matter. He suggests the youth to follow their passion and not do anything out of force.

Faraz says that anyone who is good at art and loves sketching can join the tattoo industry. On that note, he says that the tattoo market is quite untapped in small cities and has a lot of scope in the future.

When asked about his role models, Faraz says he draws inspiration from his father, who inspired him to work hard and smart. He is also inspired by Sunny Bhanushali and Mukesh Waghela, from whom he received his tattoo training. Faraz also considers Paul Booth, an internationally renowned tattoo artist, as his inspiration.

In his free time, Faraz likes to sketch, which is also his passion.
