Durriya Mustafa Tapia is an International Bike Rider. She is also a social worker and runs her own NGO under the name ‘Moovers The Charity Trust’ in Surat. Besides, she is a Director at ‘Moovers Holidays’ and also Secretary of the BJP Yuwa Morcha, Surat.
Durriya shares that she is a B.Com graduate. She started her journey by working at a travel agency in Surat.
Recalling her childhood, Durriya says she had a wonderful childhood and lived like a tomboy. Her parents supported her from the beginning and never differentiated between her and her brother. She proudly narrates one of her childhood memories of riding a 150cc scooter when she was just in 9th grade. She says she grew up doing everything a boy could do, which was a big deal for other girls in society.
On being asked about her role models, Durriya says she considers her father, her husband, and her family as her role models as it is because of them, she has been able to reach where she is today and has got so many achievements. Besides, she gets inspired by Akshay Kumar for his healthy and balanced lifestyle. Plus, she is a big follower of Mandira Bedi.
Regarding her achievements, Durriya says she has made her name in various record books in India and abroad like the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, and has won many titles for bike riding.
Speaking of mistakes, Durriya says that without making mistakes, you cannot learn anything and the one who doesn’t make mistakes, can do nothing. She adds that while learning from her mistakes, she gained expertise in riding bikes and driving trucks and became an international rider over time.
In her spare time, Durriya likes to listen to music, watch movies, and go on trips to beaches, and to mountains.
Durriya advises the youth not to give up, no matter what, and to not compare themselves to others. Further, she says that instead of judging others, find your prospects and potential to go in a particular field and move towards your goal.
