A rising Musician, Drishti Tandel believes that one should have belief in themself that they can do it to turn their dreams into reality.

Drishti was born in Daman but is settled in Mumbai. She is an independent Musician who writes and produces Japanese songs. She recently completed the second year of her diploma course at A.R. Rahman’s Music Conservatory, Chennai.

Drishti shares that when she was in eighth grade, one of her friends who used to sing and play guitar motivated her to learn Music. She acknowledges that had her friend not pushed her, she would not be a musician today.

Drishti thinks that there’s always something one can learn from other cultures. And that’s why she chose to write and produce Japanese songs following her love for Japanese culture.

Drishti shares that initially when she joined the conservatory, she was very shy and would not interact much with her fellow students there. However, her teachers and fellow students helped her open up with others, and thus a musician was brought out of her.

Drishti says that initially, she started uploading her cover songs on YouTube, and later she also started uploading her songs on Spotify. Her debut single song was titled “Convenient Store.”

Drishti draws her inspiration from the Japanese anime protagonist - Naruto. Her Success Mantra is to always believe in herself to go a long way in life.

Drishti considers Kenshi Yonezu- a Japanese musician and singer-songwriter, her role model, and someone who she wants to be like.
