A Dentist who also works for a learning app, Drishti feels that profession and passion are different.

Drishti Gupta is a Dentist. She has a clinic and also works with BYJUs as an Assistant Manager.

Drishti hails from Kolkata. Her ambition was to become a doctor and she achieved this with her sheer determination and hard work.

Talking about her childhood, Drishti says she was always a good student in her academic days.

She has loving memories of playing with her friends and also having a lovely time with her family in the evenings.

Drishti completed her dentistry from West Bengal University of Health Sciences. After completing her course she faced a lot of problems in setting up her clinic.

Drishti says her biggest struggle in life was becoming successful as a dentist without a family background. She lacked guidance in managing her patients.

Sharing about her Covid experience, Drishti says that it was very difficult for her to deal with patients professionally. As her clinic was new, it became difficult for her to get patients. She took it as a challenge and sent vehicles to patients’ homes, sanitized every required equipment, and also provided home service to patients.

In her leisure time, Drishti likes to dance. She has a diploma in Kathak. She says dance is her passion. She likes to swim in the summer season.

Talking about her role models, Drishti says she gives this credit to her father. She says that she saw her father’s struggle how from a low background he nurtured and brought up his family to a great extent.

Drishti says Dentistry is itself a challenging course. For future dentists, Drishti advises them to be mentally prepared for this job. She says if you have passion then definitely you can get success in dentistry.
