Dr. Mohd. Yavar Khan is presently working as a Medical Officer in the Urban Primary Health Centre, Keshavpura, Kota. He has been serving in this role for the past three years.

His inspiration also comes from his maternal uncle, Dr. AD Khilji, a gastroenterologist in Kota.

Born in Kota, Dr. Yavar Khan had limited career options in his early education, mainly Science- Bio or Mathematics. Although he was good at Mathematics, he chose Science- Bio because of his desire to serve people and the immense satisfaction it brings. In addition to academics, he excelled in sports, representing his school in cricket and later captaining his batch in college. He actively participated in debates and other extracurricular activities organized by the Delhi Medical Council and his college. He believes that being a doctor does not prevent one from pursuing other interests, and he balanced academics, sports, and leadership roles effectively during his MBBS studies.

UPHC Medical Officer Dr. Yavar Khan completed his MBBS from Jamia Hamdard (Deemed to Be) University, New Delhi, after preparing for NEET UG through Allen, Kota. He is currently preparing for his postgraduate studies and hopes to secure admission soon.

He regards his parents as his role models. His father, Dr. M.Z. Khan, was a Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Government Arts College, and his mother, though an engineer by education, devoted herself to building the careers of her children. Both parents played a critical role in motivating him and his brother to pursue MBBS. Dr. Khan hopes to fulfill their dreams through his professional achievements.

Dr. Khan highlights the advantage of completing his early education in Kota, from Modern School up to 12th grade, and preparing for NEET through Allen, Kota. Despite the challenges and the pressure of seeing peers fail, he succeeded in securing admission to MBBS on his first attempt, attributing his success to parental motivation. He emphasizes that the medical profession is diverse, with various fields requiring attention. He believes that the backbone of any healthcare institute is the nursing and support staff, not just doctors, and aims to dispel this common myth.

Among his key achievements, Dr. Yavar Khan highlights his work over the past three years, during which he has conducted 15 CPR training sessions at different locations, benefiting approximately 1,826 people. He has been recognized by the CMHO for his outstanding service on multiple occasions, including Republic Day celebrations, and has also received recognition from the former District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami for maintaining the best dispensary in Kota. The dispensary has been Nationally Quality Certified this year under the Kayakalp initiative.

His advice to students and young professionals is to avoid stress, as it leads to problems. He emphasizes honesty, giving 100% effort, and enjoying the work and learning process. He also encourages individuals to take initiative, stating:
