With her long experience in teaching, Vasudha, as a School Principal, is desirous of making good careers for her students.

Dr. Vasudha Neel Mani has been working as a Principal at Rockwoods International School in Udaipur for the last four years. She has 30 years of experience as an educationist. Besides being an educationist, Vasudha is also a Life and Leadership coach.

Vasudha was born and brought up in Delhi. She has a double masters in Psychology and Education. She has also done a Ph.D. in Education.

Sharing her childhood memories, Vasudha says that she remembers the long walks with her father in which she used to learn grammatical and mathematical concepts from him.

Vasudha shares that she always wanted to do something in the field of education. After her Senior Secondary Education, she wanted to do a course in Special Education. When she was in 11th grade she used to give tuition to support her family.

Talking about her Covid experience, Vasudha says that she started online classes in her school when the school was shut because of the lockdowns. She kept herself connected with the management, the students and the teachers and also took care of their emotional needs during the pandemic. Also, she attended many webinars and online brainstorming sessions during that time.

Vasudha has authored many books. One of which she wrote during the Covid pandemic and is titled  ‘Gratitude - The purpose of life’.

When free, Vasudha likes to visit different places and go shopping. She also likes to listen to music. She also conducts life coaching sessions in her spare time.

When asked about role models in her life, Vasudha says that she has been inspired by many in her life. She first considers her father as her role model, who wanted her to be in a position where he would feel proud of her. She also considers her husband's role very important in her life. Then she says that she is also inspired by the Directors of her school Mrs. Alka Sharma and Mr. Deepak Sharma.

To the aspirants to the field of teaching, Vasudha says that they should be in this profession if they love children and want to change their lives. They should never be money minded. Teachers should keep themselves updated to impart knowledge to the students.

Advising the new generation, Vasundhara says that they should be passionate and clear about their goals. They should put their hundred percent effort into their work so that there will be fewer chances of failure.
