A dermatologist, Swati specializes in laser treatments and caters to all skin, hair, and nail-related problems at her clinic. She is committed to helping people overcome their insecurities about their skin and live life in a carefree way.

Dr. Swati Tripathi is a Dermatologist who practices at her own clinic known by the name Mahe Clinic. She uses state-of-the-art technologies to diagnose and treat skin, hair, and nail-related problems of her patients. Swati specializes in laser treatments.

Talking about her childhood, Swati says that she was born in Kolkata and that she spent some of her early years there as well as in Jamshedpur. She says that she was a happy and curious kid and her childhood was pretty good.

When asked about what led Swati to pursue Dermatology, she says that she always wanted to become a doctor since her childhood but she did not find the field of surgery very fascinating. She says that she had severe acne during her younger days which somehow affected her confidence. This inspired her to pursue a career in the field of dermatology.

Speaking about her journey, Swati says that achieving her goal was not that easy. After completing her schooling, she joined ALLEN Coaching institute where she went into a severe depression, and passing that phase was very difficult for her. Thereafter, she joined Manipal University for her further studies which was a great experience for her.

After completing her studies, she joined Geetanjali Medical College for her Post Graduation where she was the first student in the Dermatology department. That is where she learned many things about the new technologies in the field and then joined Fortis Hospital to hone her skills, gain experience, and help people with the art of dermatology. Her journey was a bit difficult but it continued since then. Swati says that after COVID she gave birth to a baby girl which gave her the inspiration to start her own clinic and is now running the same.

When asked about her struggles, Swati says that she went into a deep depression when she shifted to ALLEN Coaching Institute for her studies. Further, she would hear a lot of negative comments in her entire career. However, her parents and later her husband always supported her in every decision she made and she made it to a successful career.

She has given a hundred percent to her career with her determination, consistency, and hard work. She invested all her savings and introduced the latest technologies in her clinic for her patients. She says that she met numerous people who tried to pull her back but she somehow walked out with determination and hard work. Promoting her clinic was another challenge, says Swati.

When asked which is more important—education or experience—Swati replies that education in today’s time is a requirement for all, but it is not a necessity. Learning through life experiences is what shapes your future.

If Swati was given a time machine, she would go back in time and like to improve the lives of her loved ones.

Speaking about her role models, Swati says that she has always been her own motivator. Also, all the women who work hard to create their own identity motivate her to achieve better every day.

Giving her advice to aspiring dermatologists, Swati says to believe in yourself and your dreams. Take criticism positively, be open to taking help and suggestions, and work on improving yourself. She says that the field of dermatology has a good scope and is definitely going to expand in future, so one should definitely consider pursuing a career in this field.

Talking about her achievements, Swati says that watching her husband and her daughter play and laugh is an achievement for her.

When she is free, Swati enjoys reading and playing with her daughter which also makes her feel relaxed in her stressful times.
