Sonali took various certification courses in order to learn dentistry and has been in dental practice for the past 31 years. She believes in serving society and creating civic awareness.

Dr. Sonali Paresh Vanmali is a Dentist specializing in implants and smile design. She is also the owner of two dental clinics in Mumbai. She is also the holder of the title of the ‘Elite Mrs. Queen’ of the World, and the second runner-up Mrs. India Universe. She is currently settled in Kandali.

Hailing from Mumbai, Sonali says she didn’t want to become a dentist in her younger days. She wanted to become a doctor, but she couldn’t score enough to get admission to MBBS. So, she decided to pursue a career as a dentist. Now, she feels glad to have joined dentistry because she believes it is a much better profession and suits her personality.

Recalling her childhood, Sonali says she had a great childhood because of supportive parents. She came from an educational background, as her mother and grandmother were teachers. However, her father was an engineer. She and her sister were given the opportunity to go forward in life. She was also very good at academics. Her parents wanted to see her as a doctor. She used to participate in plays, singing, and dancing in her school.

Sharing about her journey, Sonali says she completed her schooling in Goregaon. Later, she pursued her BDS at Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai. After that, she got married and settled down. A few years later, she started her own clinic and started working. After that, she started pursuing private courses in the field of dentistry. She also had a liking for acting, dancing, and singing, so she joined the gym and decided to participate in Mrs. India Inc. and Mrs. India Universe. She has also started a business selling traditional Indian frozen food.

Talking about her mistakes, Sonali says that she didn’t pursue post-graduation, which is the biggest mistake of her life. In order to rectify that mistake, she kept learning from different courses and experiences. She is still on the journey of learning.

Sharing her accomplishments, Sonali says she has done a lot of certification courses. Furthermore, she participated in the pageant industry at the age of 40, and winning the title was also a huge accomplishment for her. Moreover, taking a risk to start a new business and taking it forward is also a huge achievement for her. She is also an active member of the CMC Foundation, where she teaches civics to children in rural areas.

When asked about her role models, Sonali says her father taught her how to be disciplined, and she learned compassion and empathy from her mother. Her parents have been great role models for her. Furthermore, she also considers Sudha Murty her role model, as her personality has influenced her.

To relieve stress, Sonali prefers to go to the gym because a good workout helps her attain mental peace.
