Recipient of the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award and the Yuva Ratna Award, chemical scientist and entrepreneur, Seema is running a pharmaceutical company and also exporting their products to many countries. She is also a brilliant artist and many Bollywood actors possess her paintings.

Dr. Seema Chaudhary is a Chemical Scientist and Managing Director of Seema Finechem Industry LLP in Mumbai which is a pharmaceutical company.

Seema discloses that she worked as a scientist for a government agency at first. She was working on challenging initiatives for the organization. She later decided to launch her own pharmaceutical company despite being a mother of a child who was seven months old.

Seema reveals that she also works as a professional painting artist as well and sells her paintings. She began painting as a way to unwind from her profession. Her paintings are owned by several Bollywood stars, including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hema Malini. Additionally, she has participated in a number of exhibitions at venues like the Prince of Wales Museum, the Delhi based India Habitat Centre, the Jahangir Arts Gallery, and the International Miami Art. She invests the money she makes from her artwork in her business.

Sharing her accomplishments, Seema mentions receiving the Yuva Ratna Award and the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award. One achievement for her is that she is a member of the Jahangir Arts Gallery. Her ability to successfully launch her business is her greatest accomplishment. She has many publications and patents to her credit.

Reflecting on her early years, Seema says that she was a very industrious youngster. Her mother was a major influence on her education and was there for her at all times. She graduated from MKP PG College in Dehradun with her degree and postgraduate. She completed her PhD at Dehradun's ONGC Academy. After that, she worked for a few years as a scientist for a central government corporation and then started her own company.

When asked about her role models, Seema replies that she looks up to her mother, who has always given her encouragement and all the resources. Because he has given her so much support in her work, she also views her spouse as her role model.

Speaking about her difficulties, Seema states that she encountered several issues initially and that it was challenging to launch a new company in the chemical industry. She used to do all tasks by herself at first, including accounting and peon work. She had problems with the very low number of female employees in her company, lack of bank assistance, and labor-intensive R&D. When she first launched her firm, she faced unfair treatment in the business world since she was a woman. Despite having financial difficulties as well, she never gave up and continued to go forward.

Seema advises those aspiring to enter the chemicals field that it's crucial to follow your passions or hobbies. She encourages the youth to pursue careers in sophisticated subjects such as physics, chemical engineering, etc. They ought to pay equal attention to the research and development phase. Women should be confident in their skills and abilities and pursue their goals in life.

She counsels the young people to think clearly and become involved in various activities. Social media use needs to be restricted and one should be determined, says Seema.
